Plucking a boy from an onion farm for a great purpose of mastering dragon training seems like an interesting start to a book. The character and his dragon grow together in this series made my students excited

I am a student teacher and we read this with a class of 2nd graders and they loved it! The questions at the end are perfect for the students to look at the book and truly get a feel for what the author was portraying

I had to write a review for this book/series. My 8 year old daughter has struggled with reading, she doesn't give her full effort bc nothing has sparked her interest enough to do so. She LOVES dragons and anything mythical

I was looking for something to read to my 7 year old daughter and 3 year old son. I wanted something gender neutral (I wanted to avoid Princess books). This book was great. My kids asked to read more than 3 chapters a night.
